Dr. Justin Bathon founded the Edjurist in 2006 (although he had been blogging previously at other locations that shall not be mentioned again). Justin is an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky in the Department of Educational Leadership Studies where he primarily teaches educational law. He got his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 2008 and his J.D. and Masters of Educational Administration from Southern Illinois University in 2005. Justin has legal and educational experience at the local, state, national & international levels. His interests are legal issues in education, education policy, education technology, educational infrastructure issues and educational leadership preparation.
