Auburn Looking for Education Law/Finance Expert

It is late in the typical job cycle for the year, but Auburn University has posted an assistant professor position in education leadership with a focus on education law and finance. The position is such that I think they would hire a new graduate potentially, depending on the pool.

This would be a great job. I know some of the team members at Auburn and they are a strong program, at a strong university, and only a couple hours from the beach!

If you feel you meet the qualifications of this position and would enjoy working in this capacity, I'd highly recommend that you apply for this position, as this looks like a good opportunity to get started in a legal teaching career. Assisting a professor can involve working on menial tasks, but it also teaches you valuable skills and gives you valuable experience needed to be a full-fledged law school professor. Even if you're not looking to become a law school professor, some the skills you would learn in this position would likely transfer to almost any other teaching position. Make sure you review your resume and cover letter and that they best represent you in light of this position. Other assistant law professor jobs are also available throughout the United States.
