Scott has been blogging since 2008, when he joined the law faculty at the University of Kentucky after two years of law practice, one year of clerking, and several years as a teacher and a central district employee in a large public school district, and as a teacher and coach in a small private high school, in Florida.

Scott's main scholarly interests lie in state constitutional law and civil procedure, and he studies these topics using education (particularly school finance litigation) as a frame.  Scott teaches civil procedure, employment law, and education law at Kentucky.  You can find more detailed information about Scott here.  You can view and download Scott's most recent scholarly papers here
